Once again a poster (JasonC) who doesn't have a problem denying someone who is poor, disabled, a homesteader, a homeschooler, a Bible reader, a believer in God, or whatever their Constitutional and God-given rights simply because the O'Dell family doesn't measure up (or down) to their standards!

I'm just totally amazed at the judgemental arrogance on this site. I'm not sure whether to keep upholding and defending our U.S. Constitution or just pack my kids' bags and give them over to the state where many here think that is where ALL children belong.

Nobody has a constitutional God given right to not educate their children at all. All parents have a duty to educate their kids or see to it that they are educated. If they fail to perform that duty, then there are consequences. If they can and do perform it themselves, more power to them. There is no arrogance in this, just a view so old fashion you can't even recognize it anymore - one in which *DUTIES* come before rights.
