March 27, 2002 -- Parents at a Harlem middle school said yesterday they were shocked that a school aide, accused of sexual abuse four years ago, returned to the school to allegedly prey on a second teen - because cops were never told about the earlier incident.
Manhattan DA Robert Morgenthau's office yesterday slapped MS 54 school aide Fanon White, 31, with statutory-rape and sodomy charges in the alleged abuse of two girls.

Two teachers were arrested Thursday after allegedly trying to hire students to beat up a classmate at Beaufort High School.
Tiffany L. Grayson, 24, of Beaufort was charged with three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of disturbing schools.
Her sister, Lakeisha D. Grayson, 26, of Burton was charged with eight counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, one count of disturbing schools and one count of enticing an enrolled child from attendance in school.

When last seen by students at Eastchester High School, art teacher Randey Gordon was a man. When they return to class in September, that will no longer be the case.
"Mr. Gordon isn't Mr. Gordon anymore," said the 52-year-old teacher, who underwent a sex-change operation last month. "But it's still me. The parents and the kids who knew me as a man, they'll accept me. The person hasn't changed. I'm the same crazy, humorous person I was before."

District officials fired a substitute teacher who allegedly duct taped a first-grade girl's mouth shut then threatened to tie her up.
Theresa Rodriguez said her daughter, Katie, did not want to return to class Monday because she said a man taped her mouth Friday for being disruptive in class and warned her that he might tie her up.

Gee, imagine that, there are teachers who are less than perfect. Fortunately I was able to keep my children out of the hands of similiar people. But comparing these criminals to ordinary hardworking decent teachers is like comparing home schooling parents to the Texas home schooling mom who murdered all her children. I don't think you want to go there.
