The real problem in Canada (other than the health care debacle) is the strangling of freedom of thought and speech. Send the government home before it is too late!

Hopefully ever police officer that enforces this is in Canada will pay the ultimate price. AFAIAC, if a police officer enforces tyranny like this they don't deserve to be forgiven and they should be dispatched as quickly as possible. The difference between the police and armed thugs is all too often these days a matter of perception and nothing more.

Canada is now attempting to go beyond "your freedom for a crust of bread" to "your soul for a crust of bread"!! Christians should prepare themselves for either severe persecution or for revolution if we can't wrest political control from these societal cancers. Hope you're right, but a similar bill PASSED in Sweden. The USA may well end up being the last country with true freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Hey Canada - you need a constitution (which guarantees these freedoms).

Grig wasn't this the same bill that Svend Robinson (the bone fide assh)le) introduced last year?? The one that got him sent to the back benches of the legislature? If this is the case, I guess I'll be in prison. This evil government may be attempting to "sneak" this legislation thorugh. However where I live I have a Christian representative and I can contact his office and ask. I know I will be correctly informed on the likelyhood of this Bill.

Svend Robinson is a purebred asshole. He was sent to the backbenches by his own party last year for attempting to do something similar last year. This will not fly and if it does, they couldn't house all of us who would not respect it. I too believe that the Koran not being mentioned as hate literature is pretty bizarre. As xp38 says - "it is the motherlode" for crying out loud. I have a Christian representative from my area and I would have heard from him via a bulletin by now. Either that or I will be very soon.
