Can you post what "lock down" means in regards to a high school or college? Is it some sort of sleepover? No one enters the campus overnight?

Frat houses closed, all students in their own rooms. RA's enforcing the lock down. (Friend of mine from church has a son there who is an RA). Not sure if classes are being held or not. I don't think so since it was announced that RMC is closed today. Usually that means no classes.
