P.S., FNC last night said that the note was found at the spot where the shooter fired from.
FOX also reported late last night that the bullet has indeed been removed from the victim- during his second surgery.
The story has "shifted" this morning. They are now saying "site of the shooting" which can mean where the shooter stood, or where the victim stood, or anywhere in the vicinity of the shooting.
Time will tell and we'll get more information.
