ROME -- The Vatican is internally circulating draft proposals that would bar homosexual men from becoming priests, a policy long discussed within the Roman Catholic Church hierarchy but getting renewed attention in the wake of sex abuse scandals in the United States. I hope they do remove the gays in the Church. It's obvious they do not take their vows of chastity seriously.
Most of the Church scandals revolve around pedophiliac gay men, there was even a website dedicated to gay priests by gay priests!
Sickening.

Wow.... what a novel idea.....
How about barring gay men from priesthood.... since they are the "father" of the flock... or is that "mother"...whatever..

You made a slight mistake--paedophilia I believe is an adult
having sex with a child-too young to respond to the adult.
These men were attacking young men--seducing them, destroying lives and celebrating that act we now see who is
appalled at this and who wants these evil men to stay.

What the hell do they need a study for ???
There is the problem up front and also not allowing priests to marry so they don't need homosexuals to fill vacancies

Now we're talking.
Anyone see this reported in the Post, Times or Globe?

No Bob, if not allowing priests to marry were the only factor discouraging vocations, Maronite Seminaries would be overflowing: they are not.
