Lets see this is an old trem I learned when waiting tables just after high school. Place 2 slices of bread on plate, add shredded beef, cover with beef gravy, leave open faced. Add mashed potatoes topped with gravy. It is called a Beef Manhattan..did I spell it right?

Yep you spelled Manhattan correctly and I have that sandwich combination many times but did not know it had a "name"...lol...I look forward to Thanksgiving so I can have a turkey and dressing sandwich...Does that have a "name" too....
