The "olive-skinned" man reference was from the same guy who deliberately lied about the cream-colored van and the AK-74.
A lot of articles haven't been clear on this because the "olive-skinned" man was never officially part of a police description (was picked up by the media off of BOLOs on police radio, I believe) while the cream-colored van and the AK-74 WERE mentioned by police in press conference. It's been made pretty clear on local DC and Baltimore TV and Radio, however.
NO ONE has ever seen an actual shooter. The only actual "Middle eastern" men reference is the one construction worker who happened to see the two guys in a van at the Falls Church shooting.
Actually, one of the witnesses at one of the earlier VA gas station shootings described a "blond woman" in the van.
And WND simply isn't a very reliable source; they're the SOLE source, as best I can tell, for the "Hispanic" men in a box truck reference for the Montgomery County police.

"What I find troubling is that this guy has not established an imprint in his neighborhood," said I.C. Smith, a former senior FBI agent who worked in counterterrorism and counterintelligence. If he were Muslim and lived in a predominately Muslim neighborhood, he wouldn't establish an imprint.
