It's always better to make friends with the media. Like Sheriff Carona in Orange County during the Samantha Runion case. He was always as upfront and courteous to the media (even though they can get crazy at times) That cooperation really solved the case I think.

Does anyone have an opinion as to why sometimes a head shot and the other shots to the back and gut? No concrete opinion yet. Could have to do with the surroundings the shooter had for making the shot or it could be two different shooters-one not as confident as the other.
I have wondered if the "lead" shooter's partner was unable to get into the US or else picked up in one of the fed's raids, and if the Sept. 14 shooting at the liquor store was a tryout for the one who seems to get only torso shots.
