If the sniper is leaving "messages" at other crime scenes and all of the LEO know about, they obviously haven't ruled out the possibility of ME terrorists. They are certainly taking it seriously enough to speak to captured terrorists in Europe and Gitmo..........

Maybe the messages suggest that the sniper is a ME terrorist?
