Does anyone know when George Will's contract is up? It would be great if FNC could hire him...

I thought the Washington DC press corps kept saying after Daschle became Senate Majority Leader that he was the most powerful politician in Washington DC? How does that square with Bush being a "dictator"?
To: Wild Irish Rogue
"disgraceful that President Bush is not staying in DC and dealing with the sniper situation"
Yes, it's just awful that the Demons can't keep President Bush from slipping out of their crosshairs.

What does she expect Bush to do? Go out and look for the sniper himself? I mean today with cell phones that practically do everything what can't he do in TX that he can do in DC?

What galls me is Carville showing up to "debate" Forrester - when the Laut wouldn't or couldn't. How's that for padding the podium. Carville has no business debating anyone - Carville is not running for office.
However, I did hear Forrester managed to hold his own and got off some good shots as well. I don't think Carville was expecting that.

You are so right - I have not seen or heard a peep from the mainstream about the 2 guys in the pentagon who have been indicted for all kinds of corrupt acts. Of course, they are no longer in power, but it shows what a bunch of low lifes were in x42's admin.
To: kabar
I agree with you - this is just a stage for the dems.
Also ... why should Dole debate some guy she is double digits ahead of???
To: Mo1
You have to understand the goal!
The goal is to get ALL GUN OWNERS on a list.
This way, when you want to take control of the country, you know just where to go and retrieve the guns. No guns - no resistance! This is just tooooo easy to understand!
To: CyberAnt
I understand their goal .. which is why Chuckie was so giddy this morning
My point was .. their argument for that reason won't stand up in court .. a Defense Attorney will rip it apart those cases with the exact arguments that Wanye gave today

If you want it in plain English:
What Maddy meant was - if we give all the other nations the same weapons we have - then nobody would want to shoot at us, because we all have the same weapons.
That was x42's foreign policy. It is also why x42 gave China all that technology. FEAR causes men to do STUPID things or GREAT things.

"instead of watching the South Carolina governor's debate. Both these guys look and sound reasonably intelligent...have no idea who's in the lead."
Sanford's in the lead by 5 points, I believe (according to the Post and Courier).

I half expected George Will to get up and walk off announcing that he could no longer take this biased reporting on ABC. Yes, I felt the same way. The three liberals were sitting there beating on George Will and it looked horrible. While George Will is capable of handling all three ganging up on him, the visual message is reflective of the bias, intimidation, and back-handed methodology of the left.

i give up... which one is madeline albright again?

BEST COMMENT OF THE DAY!! Wolf Blitzer showed Condeleeza Rice a tape of Larry King Live, where Harry Belafonte criticizes her.
Condeleeza Rice says:
If Harry Belafonte wants to discuss differences of political opinion, this is America, anyone can do it, but
"I don't need Harry Belafonte telling me what it means to be black."
Smackdown!
This is what I love the most about Condi. She absolutely never gives an inch to anybody.
She could have said, "I am disappointed in Harry...", or "everyone has a right to their opinion". But she does not. She smacks her opponent right down and puts the stiletto heels right into the testicles.
There is a reason why liberals are afraid of her. The Clintonistas succeeded in large part because they are intellectual bullies. Al Gore was cut from the same cloth, as can be divined by the kind of thugs he hired to staff the upper reaches of his campaign.
Condi Rice is an individual who cannot be bullied. Her friends describe her as "fearless". This is a strength the Clinton people have never had to face. All of their female opponents they have sought to destroy have had some weakness.
Condi uses attack as a form of defense. It's actually a technique that the Clinton's used to great effect against us. I am not sure they know how to deal with an individual who uses their own weapons against them.
Condi is like a protagonist from an Ayn Rand novel. This kind of person leaves the Clinton people clueless.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

I really enjoyed your Condi analysis. She's unequivocal in her responses, so strong and resolute, especially when dealing with devils and fools.
(Unlike Trent Lott and Orin Hatch, to name the worst, but only two, of Washington's equivocating wusses.)

Not when the counties where the sniper attacks have occurred are reporting a 500% increase in people applying for gun permits! What the sniper case needs is one good witness with concealed carry.

This will only blow up in Daschle's face if we make good use of it. Certainly the other networks are not going to give him any heat about it.
He specifically used the word "dictatorial" twice. That was not a misstatement, it was a premeditated and deliberate construction.
White House and freepers, make him pay. I am astonished there has not been more play about this already.
