a scoped pistol is seeming more plausible due to its concealabilityBut NOT the terminal velocity.
Agree completely with your contention (H) that the operation will move to another metro area. If it does NOT (and it might not) then my judgment leans to psycho, rather than AQ or Saddam.

At least the DC area is not going to the extreme of closing all the schools.
Curtailing outdoor activities I can understand, but the cancellation with which I most disagree are Homecoming Dances, which are indoor events. I have been told that some dances are being cancelled because some kids are afraid to go to strip malls to have their hair done and to pick up flowers. [So do your own hair and make up at home, and have the flowers delivered.]
I have not noticed if anyone has mentioned that in the last three weeks a number of capital area teens have been seriously injured or killed in vehicle accidents, far outnumbering the one shot by a sniper. Am I the only one who perceives that the traffic hazards of moving football games a couple hours away may outweigh the possible danger of letting them play at home? (Yes, I DO have a child in high school who is directly affected by moving the games.)

CNN is reporting that Dr's have removed bullet from last night's shooting victim...didn't catch any update on how the patient is doing--was just flipping through channels

"Yes, I DO have a child in high school who is directly affected by moving the games"I have a child who is a teacher in the DC area. She says that in her school district, pressure from parents has caused the near lockdown conditions.
