Listening to VA State police on scanner. They are running tag numbers. One from Maryland that comes back with no record.

The getaway is the hard part for this sniper team.
It seems that the challenge is (after the shot) getting quietly (without squealing tires) into a flow of traffic -- before anywone can look in that direction. Also probably means firing from within a vehicle.
** I see they have stopped a white box van-truck on Rt. 54 Ashland, with drawn shotguns. Probably not our guys...
I wouldn't want to be in such a vehicle.
