That's different. That is based on probable cause. In the case of gun records they are crossing the line

Come on. That is a distinction without a difference. The evidence is much stronger for the type of gun than the type of van. There are not millions of these types of guns being carried daily but there are millions of white vans on the road every day.

Here's the problem: they can't develop a database, they can't use the information on 4473's for developing a database. It's against the Brady Act that spawned NICS but they are. And they are doing it in the open.

I'm not going to use hyperbole but I am listening to gunowners in Maryland and they are telling anyone who wants to hear.

The ATF is building a database and questioning gunowners. It's happening right now. If you don't want to listen that's fine but gunowners in MD are seeing it happen.

People are getting visited by the ATF for no other reason than the caliber of their weapon. Range logs are getting pulled. 4473's (in direct violation of law) are getting copied by LEO and guns are getting sent in (voluntarily?) for testing.

Ponder what I'm saying. It is happening.
