The common thread among communists/nazis is their dependence on the state

Ideologically pure communists--Marxists--despise the state as much as libertarians do. Indeed, libertarianism and Marxism are hatched from the same anarchist egg. They agree on far more points (atheism, humanism, anti-traditionalism etc) than they disagree.
