I guess I was figuring the perp was flying one of those nifty new hovercrafts or something. I don't know. I am extremely embarrassed, and will now shut up until I actually have something intelligent to say. It could happen yet. (shrug)
I believe the sniper is probably laying low right now in his buddies house or apartment while innocent law-abiding people are having their vehicle's searched. If ONE sniper can cause all of this trouble then what would 100 of them do dispersed across America?
This sniper may or may not be a AQ agent, but I'm feel confident this form of terrorism will be used by them in the future regardless of who is doing it now.
