Just my two cents. I would be searching all motels. I believe he/them checked in to a local motel and scouted the area, shot the man and went to the motel within 5 miles of the shooting. They probably are watching the traffic shutdown. They will get up in the morning and it will all be over and head back to Maryland on back roads.

Motels: in the world of terrorist "tradecraft", Muslim owned and operated motels and hotels are considered prime "assets". Terrorists who know the correct salutations will get room and board and all without records, incuding lookouts, fresh prepaid cell phones, switch cars, garages to hide cars etc.

Motels will be seen to be a prime part of the muslim terrorist infrastructure, mark my words.

Along with taxi companies, delivery services etc.

I agree they should be looking at all area motels very closely.Check-in a day a so early,case the area,take the shot, return to your room,take off your turbin and channel surf.

I suspect you are correct.

This shooter finds a hole; cases the hole; and then camps in the hole.

Shooter comes out of the hole, takes a snapshot and retreats to hole.

Travels later.

In this case, the shooter is using axes other than the north-south corridor(s).

My guess would be that the shooter is traveling along the circle routes, as often used by the Confederates during the Civil War.

Travels north-south on axis to the west; gets to that axis on the old Virginia pikes.

Always a different axis.

Probably has been using route maps published for evasion tactics schools, such as used by various upper-muckety-mucks.

Those maps show every navigable path through which a car can travel to escape and evade kidnappers.

Corporate types regularly attend such training programs around the "greater D.C. area."
