My darling husband reenacts Patrick Henry's speech up at St. Johns. (He's really really good, too)

Does he do it at Redhill for the Fourth of July. We went there for the Fourth one year and it was fabulous. They opened up the house to everyone and they had re-enactments of many speeches, etc. and we watched fireworks from his lawn.

I'm SarahW's DH, just returned from Williamsburg, doing Patrick Henry appearance at Kingsmill Resort for a group of "White House lawyers" (that's what I was told). Signs on I-64-West saying: "I-95 CLOSED . . .EXPECT MAJOR DELAYS" several cop cars with lights flashing waiting in the median, facing into Eastbound 64 (to cathc white vans?) Got home O.K.

I have not done the 4th of July at Red Hill, although I have worked for them a number of years for various events. Harry Kollatz has been doing Henry at Redf Hill on the 4th for several years, i believe. Harry sometimes joins us in the cast of the St. John's Church re-enactment, playing Tom Jefferson.
