Just reported. Took place outside of a Ponderosa Steakhouse. Not sure if it is related or not at this time. Police have shut down parts of I-95.

Lynchburg is way southwest of Richmond... It's several hours drive.

Never said it was nearby, just that it was south. It is about 100+ miles from Richmond. Anyway, my comment was to point out that it was not in the DC area, not to imply that it was near the shooting.

2 witnesses - one in gas station across the street and one was just walking into the Ponderosa. Neither saw the shooting.

The more stuff that comes out about the psychological profile of the sniper, the less I think it is the work of a terrorist.

There is no official psychologoical profile of the sniper. Moose wanted one on day two (from a ouija board, I guess), and the FBI (correctly) refused to indulge him, thus saving him considerable embarrassment.

The "profiles" you are hearing on TV are for the most part idiot ravings of people who know even less than LE, but have to justify their existence as "experts."

We do however, have three profiles of white vehicles...
