"Ham biscuit, anyone? Can't have company show up and not feed them. "That would seem to be pretty southern.

I love southerners... If I ever move, it will be to the south. Good folks there.

The philosophy is that certain rights are God given. No man can morally take those rights from you. Men cheat, Men change their minds. Men can subvert the law. See Nuremburg Laws for an example. Hitler killed a lot of people legally by the laws he created.

Possibly not compensating for the fact that the scope is not zeroed in at tonight's distance?

And so, rounding up innocent Muslims is ok? YES!! Even if they are American citizens?
YES!! They should never have been allowed to set foot in a Christian country in the first place.
Excuse me? Since when is this a Christian country? Separation of church and state means nothing to you? All religions are welcome here, last I checked.
I also have suspicions about this "religion of peace" claim that's been shoved down our throats, but claiming the USA is a Christian country is going a bit too far.

ty; BTW, am now hearing about some e-mail that someone brought up earlier.... . . . but I'm still not quite understanding what was in the "suspicious e-mail." This thread is moving so fast, I can't keep up.

So much for freedom of religion then. But that's ok as long as we keep the 4th amendment intact, right?

the cops in this part of VA are pretty facist. They should be cited for excesive force. This picture is ridculous if the man was not resisting.....
I once got THREE for just for inadvertantly getting in front of one of thier cruisers.
Sure, I have gotten speeding tix before, but not three. I think the judge ended up throuwing out all but two points.
Any other freepers run into billy bob in this county?

Our rights are natural rights. Given by God to man. (although, aetheists can surrender their 'rights' at any time they wish) Certainly
not given by man to man. The US Constitution recognizes this fact. The Federalist Papers reiterate that fact. When it comes to the Declaration of Independence; the United States Constitution; the Bill of Rights and the Federalist and anti-Federalist documents, I will take the words of the actual writers of these myriad documents and the speakers of the words as the final and ultimate authorities.
Not someone 200+ years after the fact who hasn't the ability to find their own ass with both hands.

Oh, man, you went to the strawman argument so soon! I guess since I don't agree with you, Super Patriot, I must be a GOP shill, right?
Works for you, I guess.

I teach American history and we have never fought a FOREIGN enemy on our own shores...all the combatants in the civil war were Americans! Ouch... lol. Well, might want to get a new job.
You don't happen to remember the British burning down the White House, do you? http://www.newstribune.com/stories/082499/opi_0824990005.asp
Say, you don't happen to live in Florida by any chance?
