I stand corrected. The bomb in Oregon, killed six people, a Reverends wife and five kids on a camping trip in Mount Gearhart. The Reverend and his wife were married two years prior, in 1943.

Ha! No, I have a very sweet voice. Can be low and throaty or hysterically high.

LT. Goodman said at the press conference that it was common to handcuff people without arresting them. I guess they don't fool around down there.

Our rights come from the constitution (regardless of what the declaration says) No. Our Rights come from God. Governments are instituted by men to secure these Rights (loosely quoting Jefferson).
If the Constitution were abolished tomorrow, I and every other American, would still have our Rights.
the fact that 99.9% of the people that occupy this land mass agree with, accept, and enforce the constitution.
Wrong again. Most of our elected politicans are working full-time to destroy our Constitution. They have the full support of many, if not most, Americans.

Is that the way you all do it in Canada?

I thought this was a conservative website, you know, one that tolerates freedom of speech and other things granted us by that document you call your god. The Constitution does not grant you freedom of speech on a private web site.

This WAS a thread about the shooting of an American earlier this evening. Since it has been taken over by some Constitution freaks, I am bidding you all goodnight. One good thing, Moose has said no more press conferences until Monday, so we have a Moose free day to look forward to.

I didn't say he had the same politics. ;-)
Turn the volume down when he comes on again, Elton I tell you...

Exactly. If there ever arrived a point some time in the
future where the majority of the population disagreed with and didn't uphold the constitution then those rights wouldn't exist anymore because no one would be making sure they do. The people that say those rights come from G-d would have to believe that if this point ever came that G-d would step in and save us. He doesn't for the other countries of the world so why would he for us? Man, you scare me....really.

According to the official on FOXNEWS, they do not have a suspect vehicle in this shooting. This has been stated over and over again. The white van is more than likely from the previous shootings.

You guys forgot this one; you Americam History Buffs:
The 1846 American Mexican War Battles at Palo Alto and Resaca de la Palma fought on American soil. And yes, Texas was already a State.

Why does G-d only grant these rights to Americans? What about the Christians in Indonesia or Sudan? Why doesn't G-d give them rights?
To: kch01
Rita Cosby talking about it now on FOX
To: Route66
"It would be inappropriate to discuss that at this time."

Thanks for the info. How far is the Virginia Center Commons shopping mall from Ashland?

Think we could convince them that God wanted to change the Constitution? :-)

Actually my pet peeve is when people say "I seen" instead of I saw, which is probably the most common mistake I hear regularly from people of all kinds of backgrounds, even those I believe to be educated....

But does that catch the sniper? No.

I guess they don't fool around down there. Some counties they send you to jail doing 20 miles over the speed limit
