ANKARA, Turkey (AP) -- Police searched Saturday for a man who shot and wounded seven people -- six of them women -- in a series of shootings they believe imitates recent sniper attacks in the United States.
The man, using a pellet gun, first shot an 18-year-old student on a busy street in the capital Ankara around noon Friday, a police official said on customary condition of anonymity. He escaped on foot and struck again in other nearby districts in the afternoon and late evening, shooting at a teacher, a nurse, three students and another woman.

Total disconnect between the headline and the article.
I agree. When i read the headline i thought it meant that the beltway sniper had moved to Turkey, but the article says it is some perp using a pellet gun to shoot mostly women in their late teens.
Sure. But they'll be easy to profile:
"...... the suspect did shoot his eye out."
