tomcat, I thought they had IDed the bullet (or more likely, bullet fragments) in Linda Franklin's killing as coming from the same gun as the other murders attributed to the Beltway sniper (or whatever is his current moniker). That was done on Tuesday.

last i'd heard, it'd only been narrowed down to an appliance that could shoot .223, and not to a
particular weapon.
