Dasshole doesn't mention 9/11, the phoney corporate bookkeeping, Clinton/Gore's overstated economy by 30%, the much needed military build-up, etc....... Hey, Dasshole, if we Americans don't feel secure, the economy is insecure. And, you are the one who led the Senate to stall Homeland Security! Idiot!

WONDERFUL cartoon !!!!!

Is there any particularly good reason why this stunted socialist crook should be allowed to lie to real Americans day after day without consequence?
200 years ago a man (in this case, half a man) that dishonored another by lying about his record would be challenged to a duel.
Some GOP senator ought to at least slap the top of his head with a glove.

Nothing to see here (not to detract from your post, Raven ... nothing new about Daschle and the rest). Again, the state of the entire economy's Bush's fault (within less than two years, a state which has largely existed since Bush took office) and all on account of a negligable tax cut, most of which hasn't yet gone into effect.
As a conservative who was in my early and careless pre-teen years a raving anti-war, nuke-freeze liberal, it always kills me how the media doesn't even make an effort to balance out the absurd statements of dem politicians against reality or refrain, for at least objectiveness' sake if not for the sake of "journalistic ethics," from assailing one political party for contrived and obviously (to those who pay attention) false wrongs while exempting the other party from obvious wrongs.
This land and eventually all of humanity will fail if all is driven by corrupt government. America in the past century has almost alone kept that horrible end at bay. Most of us here understand what's up and the magnitude of the consequences should liberalism prevail. In most cases, our sacrifice shouldn't, and hopefully won't, require but a few of our own lives, but sacrifice to WHATEVER extent is necessary is needed right now. Informed sacrifice. The first purposes of mankind have always been to keep individuals' houses in order and to prepare the next generation to do the same.
Put your donations where they're best spent, even if it involves races that can be won outside your own districts. If you own weapons, be prepared to use them against anyone who like bin Laden and his ilk threatens our nation. If you don't, buy them LEGALLY, so you can help to defend your household, your community, your country, should need require. That's something the Founders saw way back in the 18th Century as forever necessary for the preservation of Democracy. Very little of what the Constitution demands has needed to be changed in order to keep America on the right course, and what has survived of Constitution as it was written has kept America alive and prosperous (at least until now) despite the changes that shouldn't have been made.
Finally, through our votes and through the votes of others who can still be persuaded we can alter the laws that prohibit law-abiding citizens from owning effective weapons of self- and national defense. We must either hold both houses of Congress by a good majority or else maintain a nominal hold on both houses and retain the presidency to keep any hope of righting the course of America. Given our country's wide racial and economic stratification (a gift from solely self-interested, power-greedy liberals, inspired by historically failed Marxist and other obsene German doctrines), Socialism can only ruin us all, regardless of racial economic status, or any other factor.
We're on pre-WWII Europe's path, particularly the then path of Germany which gave rise to Naziism. Liberals will not deliver us from racism and economic oppression. They'll deliver us to exactly the opposite, as they always do when they succeed in their aims.
Thanks for the post.

Tom Daschle: Man or Midget?
A few weeks ago, The Hotline reported that in an effort to make him appear taller, aides to Senator Tom Daschle had begun stacking phone books in his chair when he and Dick Gephardt held joint news conferences in which they both were seated behind a conference table. "Nahh...Daschle couldn't be that short," I thought. I always knew Daschle to be a small man, but I had never given much thought to his physical stature. So, intrepid cyber-journalist that I am, I conducted a little investigation to find out just how short Tom Daschle really is, and the results are astounding. All of these photos were found at Tom Daschle's website (which, incidentally, is just as lame as he is) and other than adjusting their size, none of the photos have been digitally altered in any way. I SWEAR!
|
It is interesting to note that in this photo, Tom is standing a foot closer to the camera than anyone else, and he still looks like a toy poodle. |
|
This young female South Dakotan is probably 15 (16 tops), yet Daschle can look her in the eyes. We can't see their feet in this photo, and I'm betting the reason is because Tom is standing on the D.C. Yellow Pages. |
|
This photo is interesting because the young lady appears to be purposefully slouching and bending at the knees to make Tom look taller. I guess someone else must have been using the phone book that day. |
|
This picture makes Tom look like an underdeveloped 8th grader posing with his date for the school dance and her father. |
|
Yet another example of Daschle towering under a teenager. There are three things that never change in all of these photos: Tom's unusual lack of height, those hideous paintings of cows on the walls, and the amazing consistency of Tom's "smiling for the camera" pose. I guess it is true that reptiles have only one facial expression. |
|
This photo goes to show that Tom is not only short, but he is thin as a rail, too. I could knock this guy down by breathing on him. |

LOL! The cameras on C-SPAN and other media venues usually portray his stature favorably, although not always intentionally since often only head and head & shoulder shots can be seen. Of course, were Daschle a Republican, we'd hear endlessly, and would be image-reminded constantly, of his diminutive size.
To: The Raven
Beady Eyed Daschle is a typical lying liberal, could not tell the truth if his office depended upon it.

REP. GRAHAM: I was a McCain supporter. Senator McCains plan was a tax cut smaller in size than President Bushs cut. It had money for debt reduction and money to go into a transition system to save Social Security. I liked that idea. When I went toonce the election was over, President Bush won. Hes the leader of my party. The tax cut that was passed is smaller than he proposed. The economy is in a downturn post-September 11. Weve had a lot of extra spending. Weve had an economic stimulus package thats larger than the tax cut. The tax cut that I voted on I think is a very good thing to have
done given the state of the economy. I would like to put money aside for Social Security. I would like to pay the debt down faster, and we do need tax cuts.
Now, heres what I would say about my opponent and tax cuts. When The Greenville News asked him about it, he said he wasnt sure but he played the class warfare card. Im not so sure I would have given $600 to Bill Gates kids. Now, he said three or four months later that the tax cut was like flushing money down the toilet. Im glad to see that he now is for the tax cut. I voted for the tax cut. I will support this president. He won. McCain lost. I will be a good ally to the president.
Heres some numbers Id like to give you, Tim. When the Democrats took over control of the Senate in May of 2001, the stock market was at 11,000. As of Friday, it was at 7,500. When the Democrats took control of the Senate in May of 2001, the budget surplus was $236 billion. Its now $157 billion in the red. The unemployment rate when the Democrats took over the Senate in May of 2001 was 4.4. Now, its 5.6. You can use my chart to make a point that the Democratic Senate is responsible for our problems, but the truth is were all in it together and we need to fix it together.
As for the International Problem SEE BILL CLINTON & JIMMY CARTER NOW WE HAVE GROWN UPS HERE
