Noelle probably requested that her father not attend. If she is sincere about getting her act together, she would want to show her father she can take the first step alone. She knows she has his love and support and doesn't have to be physically with him to know that. Sure, I am assuming this, but I just put myself in her place and that is what I would do. Had he showed up with her, the media would have had a field day stressing how he was using his influence to keep her out of jail. As a family, they will become united long before the media lets up on them. Many of us have gone through the same thing and generally it is the liberals who are more 'forgiving'. Since a prominent republican is involved they balloon it, which will burst in their faces.

This is one of my fields and I agree....I'm sure it has been the added pressure of Public life that has impacted her, after all she is just a young kid.....
