Exactly. Our "government" is angry and embarrassed that North Korea took this perfect time to make their aims public. They are stunned that they would pull such a dirty political trick, is all.

No. Read the reports. Our guys confronted them with direct and recent evidence of their continued nuke program. They could not deny it plausibly anymore. So instead they became belligerent - obviously upset to have been caught - and denounced the agreement, spouted propaganda, tried to blame us for it (as though the real agreement was for us to look the other way and ignore it while also paying them off). They were upset to be called on their non-compliance. The media is not reporting half of this accurately. Fox is, the pentagon news conferences do, and you can see some of the details in pieces like this - but covered over with spin and excuses and lies. It is not our government that is embarrassed by this. Capitol hill may be stunned, but not the administration.
