I only called the tip line once just to tell them about the story because that's all I had at the time. Later, I called Hampton Police twice and gave little info to the receptionist who said an officer would call me back. I never received that call. After I discovered the Fairfax connection and then the shooting on Monday I immediately talked to the Fairfax Police. I truly believe that woman was the only one to take my story seriously. Whether it be that he was in the neighborhood or that the Fairfax Police knew something I didn't, the shootings have stopped, and no matter what the reason I am thankful.
I do not believe any more calls to the tip line would help.
