The truly depressing thing is that (and I bet LE will admit this in private) the best shot at getting the SOBs is if they hit again. :-(
Thankfully, the condition of the boy who was struck has been upgraded from critical to serious today.

Even wondered if the cops ought to stick a white truck somewhere and then show film of it being towed, and then talk about questioning someone. Seems that every time they say they are questioning someone that the shooter comes out.
But I hate to have someone get shot, just to get the SOB out in the open again. *sigh*
