"Sodom Begs His Sheeple Not To Forsake Him!!"

"Saddam said, "I must say that the evil will not end until it's defeated, a comprehensive defeat that, God-willing, will be imminent." "

Prescient words by Sodom, much to his dismay...MUD

ACU Members, Friends, Supporters, and Activists:

When the nefarious trade-anything folks at Enron got busted for cooking the books to increase the value of their stock and ultimately defraud investors, our government’s General Services Administration (GSA) made the right decision when it suspended that corporation from doing business with the U.S. Government. GSA has the responsibility of investigating and reviewing companies who want to do business with the federal government. They do so to insure that no government agency enters into contracts with companies that have records of unsatisfactory business and ethical practices or are engaged in Enron-like fraudulent conduct.

"As such, when it became clear that the accounting firm of Arthur Anderson was complicit in the cooking of the Enron books, the GSA suspended that firm as well. Currently, the GSA is exploring the suspension of additional companies engaged in fraudulent conduct—such as WorldCom and Qwest—who appear to deserve the same fate as Enron and Arthur Anderson.

"What we don’t understand is why GSA is not holding Telecommunications giant Global Crossing to that same standard. It’s clear Global Crossing has engaged in the same conduct, and we believe should be held to the same standard. As you may recall Democrat National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe’s invested $100,000 in Global Crossing, and since the company was cooking the books, McAuliffe’s investment yielded a whopping $18 million. Is some Clinton-holdover putting Global Crossing on his “to-do list” instead of doing his job and SUSPENDING the corporation?

"ACU believes that any company that engages in fraudulent conduct—regardless of who runs the company or who is invested in it—should be held to a common standard of accountability. Write an email to our friends at the GSA, and ask them why they won’t suspend Global Crossing: a company that operated with the same administrative dishonesty as Enron, WorldCom, or Arthur Anderson.

"Urge the GSA to delist Global Crossing. We don’t want our government entering into business relationships with ANY company engaging in unethical and fraudulent behavior, and until the GSA acts, the possibility that government contracts will be signed still exists. Tell them to FINISH THE JOB WITH GLOBAL CROSSING."

"The Enron-fallout cloud that lingers still affects our economy, and is clearly an issue people will be considering as they go into the ballot boxes on the first Tuesday in November. So do your part, and log onto www.conservative.org and tell the GSA not to forget about Global Crossing: the unethical company that helped Bill Clinton’s moneyman Terry McAuliffe turn $100,000 into $18 million—on the backs of those company’s shareholders and employees. "Be Active. Be Heard."

Might wanna mention that Global Crossing's now controlled by the Chi-Com's and is not to be trusted for any US Military and/or Civil applications!!
