Well there was a good reason I didn't post an update; nothing changed
Both teams won their respective games & so everything remained -- essentially -- the same, insofar as the win-loss column goes.
Didn't think there any reason to further aggravate the boy by reminding him he's one game closer to a pay-off, y'know?
He's been known to get quite *testy* if not altogether snippy when reminded bills are about due?
Forgive me, sultan; I guess one can trace my momentary lapse of reason back to the *kernal* of "Compassionate Conservatism" planted in my junk-yard dog mean heart some time back.
A good & competent *judiciary* cannot afford any measure of nonsense like, "compassion" now, can they?
I mean, the law *is* the law, huh.
Be that as it may:
Deadskins are 3W & 4L
Steelers are 4W & 3L
*Since* the Steelers maintain their 1 game lead over the Deadskins, the sultan remains firmly entrenched in the forefront of the wager; &, for all practical purposes?
The sultan appears well on his way to collecting a night on the town in a chauffeur driven limosine, for an evening of fine food & drink at the Richmond eatery of his choice [read: sultan's choice], all at the expense of Mudboy Slim.
(Footnote: Just a *friendly* reminder, Mud, but it is customary the driver & all other wait staff recieve a 20% gratuity. So, please make absolutely certain these additional figures are duely added into the *budget* now, OK? ~ie, the ol' CC has enough limit before there's even a remote chance of your pocketbook experincing a -- how should I say it -- financial hernia? We certainly wouldn't want there to be any uncomfortable *moments* during the sultan's and his lovely & gracious bride's special night on the town, would we?)
