OK. The two posts here quoted what is now on the DSA site as if it was proof of a nefarious plan to thwart the will of the people. That is what I was objecting to. If proof existed at one point, but has since been destroyed, that's another story.

This FR thread (and post of mine) is where I originally posted the information and YES, it was indeed a POP-UP until they pulled it as such. But the original URL still works.
