Has anyone seriously entertained the possibility that these shootings could be the work of Al Qaeda or some other terrorist cell? Consider the following:
1. All the shootings have occurred very close to the nation's capital.
2. The American way of life (despised by Al Qaeda) has been completely disrupted in that area.
3. Fear is rapidly spreading throughout the population.
4. The victims have all been soft targets----innocent, defenseless, unarmed civilians going about their daily routines in public places.

Yes. This has been the subject of at least two LONG FR threads. Last night, consensus seemed to center on the Al Quaeda hypothesis.

I think it's being done by demonRATs. They're trying to cause as much unrest as possible prior to the elections. IMHO, the demonRATs deserve to be placed at the top of the list of enemies of the U.S., with Saddam and Bin Laden somewhere further down the list. Neither of them has done as much to damage our country as the demonRATs. If you really want to look into the face of pure evil, look at Hitlery.
