Only that there are conflicting reports - someone saw shooter outside the vehicle but another witness says shooter was inside vehicle.

Wish we knew how many of these hits were made from green space areas with the sniper on foot) and how many were from a vehicle.

The one last night from the vehicle seemed a little different as if where he had planned to shoot from wasn't accessible.

Coming so soon after finding the trashed white van and the marine incident up in Baltimore, I wonder if he moved his shot up 12 hours.

Last weeks hits were Mon, Wed, Fri.,approximately 36 hrs apart.

Oh, dear, I certainly hope you are wrong, but we just have to assume these guys have a plan for if they are surrounded that entails more than going down in a blaze of bullets.

I think these guys don't want to go down in a hail of bullets. This guy seemed real anxious to get away. He even made a turn around and went in the opposite direction when he go caught in traffic. They said they saw him get out and jump the median and get back in and turn around and go the opposite way. These guys are cowards which means they are afraid of getting caught. They said the skin color varies from white to olive which means more than one person.

if fuhrman actually has info, it's likely based on ejection/firing pin marks on the casing(s) recovered.
(i still have doubts that our boy(s) would have been sloppy enough to leave spent casings, but who knows ?)

A bare bones AR, no frills, is about $750. AK's are around $350. Some AR's are up in the 1000s. But I agree, someone trained upon a AK would likely choose one regardless of other factors.

One more point. According to some reports, the sniper exited the vehicle to take the Home Depot shot. He flashed a AK type weapon. This is very much out of character for a man whose taken extra-ordinary precautions not to be seen. I hypothesize he was sending a message. He wanted to be seen with an AK. Perhaps he wanted to establish that he was middle eastern (AlQaeda) rather than some looney teenager adicted to video games or a crazy gun nut white guy.

A terrorist might wish to make known that he was these things in order to increase the impact. There is a worldnetdaily story today that the feds have supressed a middle easteren terrorist link to avoid panic in DC.

I agree these guys don't want to go down in a hail of bullets. But we have to assume, when they are cornered and close to being arrested/killed by LEO, they will pull something bigger than just shooting back at LEO's.

Fox & Friends is going to have a guest on in a while (teaser, I guess) who takes the position that it's ME terrorism. I'm keeping it on, to see...a fair number of call ins also think it's ME, working in pairs or teams.

Well the dummy could explain the use of only one gun. It could be a lone gunman with only one gun and has a mannequin to confuse any witnesses.

It's also possible that there may be 3 involved. One white and two olive-skinned or darker complexioned.

This would cover a shooter, a spotter, and a decoy. Two vehicles, and allow for differing eye-witness accounts.
