He is/was James Carville's partner in a political consulting business. Perhaps that should be political insulting business.

Paul Begala was also a Clinton White House aide and campaign strategist in the Clinton "War Room" along with James Carville and George Step-on-All-of-Us ..... which of course means that he's now an expert spokesman for the DNC! Begala was on duty in the WH primarily, some believe, to deal with the "scandal eruptions".

We also have Begala to "thank" (NOT!) for the smarmy, insipid remark making light of Clinton's flagrant misuse of executive orders: "Stroke of the pen, law of the land -- kinda cool!"
