What an extraordinarily stupid remark. If he did indeed get a good look at the guy he should tell only the cops, and not the mass media. As it is now, it would be prudent for him to get a rifle of his own and go stay in some national wilderness area in Idaho or somewhere until the FRI nails these guys.
I have searched before posting an article I take the time to post it correctly using keywords and all that jazz. I post it, then JUST when the coversation gets good.
It was pulled by the sidebar,centerbar,backwardsbar moderator person stating IT IS A DUPLICATE. EVERY time I then check the other first posted thread and it was posted with no keywords therefore making folks like me who actually search before posting think it has not been posted.
I don't care if people live to post on FR 24/7 let them post first,but for the love of God PLEASE post the article correctly, putting the threads title in keywords and putting commas in the sentence; THEN I can find it when I search to see if the article has already been posted.

P.S.-I wonder if sidebar moderators know what it feels like to take time and post an article correctly then JUST when you are rolling along in good conversation you receive a freaky odd feeling message in self search that like God pulls the thread all awhile knowing you did do a search to no avail but the other article did not show up because of no keywords or different (made up) title. Some people value their time and don't live on here to be the star of the day and post.
So remove KEYWORDS in posting an article cause many are so anxious to post first, they don't use it.

Heck, I was just trying to lighten stuff up. I didnt mean to chase everyone else off. ((Im sure you know that being a Chief its a toss up between everyone wanting something all at once or, as in this case, everyone running away)) (...and I refuse to comment on the anal retention of some of the moderators.)
I think the latest victim being a Fed will definatly throw a twist into things. I know the FBI is on the scene and applaude them for staying out of the camera eye. You dont know how hard that is for them. Being as spread out as the crime scenes are I know it must be a jurisdictional nightmare. But with one of their own taken down you know the FBI is rolling even harder on this now.
BTW:I had not posted this thread, 500000000000 :-) other poor souls did, but I didn't this one. I was just venting.
