If you mean "Richard Reid", actually I think he changed his name. I believe he actually was middle eastern. He sure ain't Anglo-Saxon, that's for certain.

No, Richard Reid is not Middle Eastern, but he did convert to a militant brand of Islam. He did use a Muslim name from time to time after his conversion. As I posted above, he is of mixed Jamaican/British descent.
