Actually, the police have stated that ballistics shows it is from the same rifle.

If it is al Queda it would make sense there are more than 2 involved, but I would be very surprised if they had more than one shooter. They typically have specific jobs assigned to each person, and they wouldn't need more than one shooter. The only reason to use one rifle for multiple shooters would be to make it look like a single shooter. There's not much benefit to them of that. The idea that there are 2 or 3 shooters doing the exact same thing is much more frightening.

Umm, I just heard on NBC news that they saw the shooter, a witness did, and the gun was the distinct AK-74. A 5.45 mm Rusian model similar to the 5.56 mm(.223) US military cartridge.

I suggested that the shooter was using an AK-74 long ago on the forum.

Reason, bin bagged used an AK-74s as a prop when he was filmed. This led me to believe that the Al Queda elite troops, like snipper teams would be using the same type gun. It also means that Al Queda are versed in the use of low signature high velocity rounds.

BTW AK-74s are not imported into the US. They are all full-auto and haven't been allowed in the country. Guess the Al Queda types don't care about gun laws.
