Hi, Valerie - have missed seeing your beautiful photographs the last few days - good to have you back again.
I had one lilypad in our little goldfish pond in the courtyard once, but it never looked this pretty! One by one the pads died, and I took the whole thing out and threw it away. Plus we had a dog that thought the goldfish were there JUST for her to play with, and then they all died of heart attacks I think after trying to stay out of the way of her big feet!
*L* I cheat with flowers. I don't grow them, I just photograph them. I found that pretty lily pad pond at the local arboretum. Let's cross our fingers and hope for the plants' sake that I wasn't close enough to actually harm them with my wilted leaf karma when I took the picture. I do not have a green thumb.
