"Dear Mr Policeman" is popular in Singapore
This is a series of five workbooks on crime prevention for students in Primary 4 (Year 4) to Secondary 2 (Year 8). The books were launched together with the Ministry of Education in 1986 as part of the school curriculum in social studies. They were not examinable subjects. The objective of the series is to foster awareness of crime prevention in the young students, impress upon them, the dire consequences of crime and provide an insight into Police work. The series include a teacher's handbook.
