....That of course would mean the shooter was on foot, and either meeting up with someone or returning to his parked vehicle. Why is everyone thinking that the vehicle is anywhere within the visual range of the victim's location? The vehicle could be parked out of the line of sight of the victim's witnesses and he just walks a short way to it. Like parked "around the corner." That way no one ids the vehicle.

Well, why do you think it's only the second or third time you've heard it? (your agreement with post 97).
Please tell me you guys have been offering to pump people's gas or walk kids to school or whatever you can do to help people who are concerned or afraid. Or do you even live in the area?
We all know there are "fearless" people out there like you bit give the rest of us a break, OK?
You can flame me too.

I'm not a hardliner -- middle-class Muslims born American aren't terrorists. We need to deal with the leaders of the Muslim community -- CONTINUE dealing with the leaders of the Muslim community -- to identify and neutralize *fundamentalist* training centers, or anything resembling them...to cough up material on known criminals...and so on. I'm not religious myself (well, sort of), although I believe in morality, so the choice is pretty clear: Civilization or NOT civilization, whatever your race/skin color/gender etc is. Funk that. ;-)

Why Moose doesn't want to release partial suspect information...
"paints a group or causes people to be misidentified, causes them some hardship, that's the dilemma we want to stay away from."
What does Moose call the hardship being experienced by the rest of us that have had our lives put on hold, waiting for the next Press Conference from The Moose. Duncan told Moose, we have a lot of 'groups' that vote democrat around here, so let's not alienate them, Ok?
Thanks for posting this, because this needs to be brought out. It is what is happening behind the scenes.

Why not use Satellites to track? Seems like they're grasping at straws....I've been wondering the same thing. Methinks they forgot to tell us something.

I haven't checked my spelling but I believe it is the posse comitatus act.

USG vehicle makes a lot of sense.

The last hit (of 5) on Oct 3rd (Thurs) was at 9:15 PM. I believe it is the only other shot within the beltway.
Oct 3 = DC and SILVER SPRING both within the beltway.

Don't ME terrorists like the media coverage? Oh, these aren't ME terrorists but they sure are getting the coverage.
I think it's ME type terrorism.

Let's say you own a small retail store. You probably spend a fair amount of your day looking out at the street, waiting for someone to come in. You're probably familiar with the neighborhood cars. You might even know who drives which car. Likewise, perhaps even more so, with someone who works at a car dealership or car repair shop.
It seems to me that if the sniper does have an urban parking place within the search perimeter, he would choose a place which is not within sight of people like those described above. Even if the parking place is on a busy street, the sniper would need to worry about his immediate neighbors.
The sniper seems to be fairly calculating and careful. So, he has probably found a place where he can come and go without a lot of attention. Are there areas like that in the search perimeter?
To: GeorgeandtheDralgore
Not that I'm aware of. If I lived in that area, I'd have my dishes washed, nose powdered, and wear my nicest underwear before that Predator gets there. :)
To: Merovingian
confirms my thinking that MOOSE's "leadership" has always been token..I think this is because the Tarot card was addressed to him. They think he has a relationship with the sniper.

Chris Core of WMAL just saying on Hannity show that he now thinks it's terrorism.

Thanks for posting this, because this needs to be brought out. It is what is happening behind the scenes. What's happening behind the scenes is that Mr. Moose-trapped-in-headlights is taking the fall for this one. Someone has to fall on their sword for it. Case is out of his hands now -- if not fully, it SHOULD be, and their should be an FBI spokesman out there -- if the Prez. is addressing this *daily* in his briefings. There ought to be some coordination, don't you think?
To: ARCADIA
"Dear policeman" doesn't sound directed at Moose in particular.
To: aristeides
You're right about the population splits. It's roughly 80/20 in Virginia and 70/30 in Maryland instead of the 85/15 I was using. Don't know how Baltimore skews the totals, but it's not that important. Either way, the alternation is unlikely, but not statistically impossible. Having said that, is more likely that it is deliberate selection pattern because there is a human agency involved.
To: GeorgeandtheDralgore
Methinks they forgot to tell us somethingTelling us the truth might cause some hardship to some unnamed group, as Chief Bulwinkle would say.
Now I know that they have proof that is is the Amish.
To: Kip Lange
Thanks, KL. Even the President was quoted as saying this is making him sick to his stomach because, "It's not the America I know." (Or something to that effect.
My son is watching "Gladiator". At least Maximus knew WHO his enemy was and could see who he was fighting.
To: Kip Lange
Im having a hard time biting on the Moderate Muslems tag. The Religion insists on total world domination by Islam.
I fear when push comes to shove they will chose to be
Moslems first and Americans second.
They are the enemy in our rear IMHO

"Chris Core of WMAL just saying on Hannity show that he now thinks it's terrorism."What is his reasoning? We had quite an interesting thread going yesterday on this topic.
