If this guy gets taken out by an armed citizen it would be too much for the liberals to bear. They're already privately fuming that this guy has taken the economy away as an election issue, while they shed a fake tear for the cameras.

Until they get the bullet, we won't know if it's connected.
It might be un-related... just another homicide.
MSNBC reported that a van was seized with tarot cards and a sign on the dash that read... Gihad in America.
There was also .223 ammo in it. The owner was questioned and released.
How can anyone down there put a sign like that on their dashboard?!

A sniper like this may be making more Conservatives out of Liberals than we may ever know. It is the Individual's responsibility and right to defend him or herself and his or her loved ones, including neighbors. It is not, has never been, and never could be the role of Government to do so.
Obviously we need the Federal Government to protect our borders, and we need State Government to prosecute criminals according to the Law, but there is no substitute for the Individual's right to self defense. When that right is infringed, free people become terrorized targets.
To: .30Carbine
there will never be enough law enforcement to protect every indiviual. It is not law enforcement's job to 'protect every individual'. Their job is to investigate crime and gather evidence for the prosecution of the case.
The sooner more people understand this, the better. Pass the word.

Read about that potential suspect last night with the sign in his van. I'm sure he's being watched carefully. If he's connected in ANY way, he'll perhaps lead them to others involved.

Morning Peach, thanks for pinging.
Heavy dose of prayers bump.
Though I still feel that the Van is a ruse/diversion.
Unless of course someone did see the shooter directly in it.
To: miffmole
good article, it's from Sierra Times orginally.

The NYP is describing the potential shooter as olive skinned, wearing blue pants, blue jacket and the vehicle has Virginia plates.

There are differences in this crime because there was no immediate access to a highway. huh? I thought the strip mall was surrounded by highways. 7 of them in fact.
To: ET(end tyranny)
Reporting what was said on CNN early this morning. Have since read there are several highways near the location of the shooting. Have also read on thread from last night that Freepers who know the area well said that the area is "traffic light hell" and hard to believe the shooter chose this area due to heavy traffic at all times of day and night.

In the first conference lst night, police chief Manger was asked about that (olive skin) and he said that that was unreliable info. fwiw
To: Peach
It's not hard to believe if the goal of the shooter is to "get away" rather than "get away fast". There are a dozen choices to head in a dozen directions within a short distance of where the victim was hit.

Is there a lot of side and back roads the shooter(if he knows the area well) could have used?
To: Peach
there was a blurb about another dark-colored auto, another thread cited a burgundy Caprice, they're not sure that the van wasn't in or near the parking lot, it's looking more like a duo -- van heads east on Rt 50 while shooter takes backroads southwest...
To: ET(end tyranny)
Could be unreliable info; thought it was worth a mention since the NYP and threads and witnesses from last night said the same thing.

Have seen reports about a dark colored car. Perhaps a diversion and two vehicles are being used?
