Indeed, one takes more of a risk day to day just driving, BUT, at this point, I think the possibility of being shot at a gas station, shopping center etc. is closing in statistically. Perhaps Maryland and Virginia (there is no legal hunting in DC) will enlist hunters/others to assist in creating parameters around these and other areas, deputize them and hope they get him/her/them in their sights and take him/her/them out on the spot. I am against the death penalty, but instant justice sounds good to me...one more thing: with all the task force tied up on this one, isn't there the possibility of another strike elsewhere right now?

uh ... you don't notice some little problem with logical consistency in these words?

i have often felt that many who purport to be, e.g., against the death penalty ... well ... under the right circumstances ... .

in other words, they're not really against the death penalty at all.

Um, I appreciate the sentiment, (As a Montgomery County resident and NRA member) but no flippin' way am I going to be hiding out with a rifle along with a bunch of other guys with rifles looking for someone with a rifle, and no good way to tell the sheep from the goats.
