It would be a huge mistake for public officials to call it Islamic terrorism and be wrong.
Me, I have no shame. I'm willing to be wrong. For me, the Islamics are the suspects until proven innocent. At least three of them.
If we have not been completely misled by the police, there is more than one vehicle involved, more than one person, and no Muslim victims (although it certainly seems they are diverse in every other way, even to the point of deliberate diversity).
On this, I would be foolish and lack any common sense to disagree.
It would be even more of a mistake for the police to assume it was islamics and concentrate their investigations there only to turn out wrong. If we don't have any evidence to point to islamics (and no one knows exactly what the police have, maybe no more than us) concentrating too much investigative resources there may well overlook the real killer elsewhere. At this point we can't assume anything. Personally, I'm leaning away from the islamic terrorist thing. Probably some nutcase. Maybe an ex-cop, or a disgruntled ex-stockbroker. Everyone's suspect now.
Well, you would have thought that after 11 or 12 shootings, the killers would somehow have managed to hit someone of the moslem persuasion, considering the fact that as some have pointed out, there's a large ME population in that area now...
