I'm sorry to report that our neighbor's had to put Alex, the springer, to sleep. He never came out of his coma and the vet said probably suffered severe brain damage with all the seizures he had. My poor neighbors are besides themselves and our Gizmo just keeps looking out the window waiting for him to come up and play....they would "hang together" several hours at day

lonestar...give that little weanie a great big kiss! So glad she's better!

Dutchess, am so sorry about little Alex - I feel sad for your neighbors, and Giz, too. Thanks for your mail last night - everything is fine and I loved the pictures.

So sorry to hear about Alex. Condolences to your neighbors and to Gizmo.

Weinie said to tell Gizmo that he can come out to play with her when she's off "the pill." (that doesn't sound nice!) Weinie has to take vitamin K for another three weeks. I'm being overly protective; worry about her getting cut or bleeding and in the six years I've had her I don't remember her bleeding --before the poison.

I didn't cook chicken and rice everyday before the poison, either! Weinie is rotten!!!

Isn't it remarkable how the little devils can get under our skin?
