USA is in real trouble, as long as George Bush does not realize that Islam has declared war on the USA. USA has not faced up to it's terrorism problem even as much as some Arab countries that have outlawed some Islamic groups.
George Bush has no business telling the Israelis to lay down and roll over so terrorists can destroy them, and he needs to stop talking out of both sides of his mouth. I do support my president, but he does seem awfully dumb about Islam and it's goals against freedom and democracy.

The truth about Islam becomes more apparent to all daily.

I have also been disappointed by the words coming out of the Administration at times vis a vis Israel--but watch what they DO more than what they SAY. It's pretty hard to find fault with their actions in the past year...foreign policy has become AMERICAN foreign policy once again, in large part.

Developing events continue to weaken the position of the appeasers/pantywaists in the State Department, thank God.

I understand your frustration, but I think that President Bush is between a rock and a hard place. Example - Iraq. What seems so obvious to you and I, and the rest of the Freepers, has been lambasted by a third of Congress and the majority of the media. Imagine what would happen if he came right out and said that Islam is a sham religion and that we - America and the West - must destroy it. Hell, Congress would call for his head, the UN and the rest of the world would shun him, and his presidency would be a total disaster because the media would label him either a Christian extremist or insane. I think that even with his experience under his father, he was ill-prepared for the Senate switch. He is making speeches nearly every day, speeches that even though the media is not showing, a lot of people get to see and hear. He has a lot of work to day and I think it will take eight years to correct the eight years under Clinton.
