I am still of the opinion that their holy sites in Mecca and Medina should go. These people are still thinking like savages and they have to be shown that the god they worship is powerless. They will not stop until they find out it's fake.

They need to be told that the civilized world has enough of their jihad. Then give them the arrival time of the incoming on their holy sites. Explain that this is their last chance to die as martyrs because islam will no longer be tolerated.

cults are not religions. Real religions, of all stripes have self-governance that isolates and exposes the cultists who CLAIM to be part of their religion.

Islam as a whole has done little to govern the wahhibists who claim to be Islamic.

The turks are islamic however, and islamic turks, govern their own whackjobs.. sometimes brutally... as the whack jobs deserve. Their self governing version of Islam does seem to act like a real religion.
I have seen little evidence of late that islam as a whole is acting like a self-governing religion.

Still, I think tearing down their idols and religious symbols, is too far to go. I remember how incensed I was when they destroyed the "buddha" religious symbols in (pakistan?).

Jesus never tore down the pantheon of roman Gods, but told us to try and honor HIM by how we live, love and serve our fellows... they too, being made in God's image.

I say let folks worship as they will, til they demonstrate they are a cult of death. Turkish islamics by and large believe in doing right, don't care to evangelise the planet, and will sit down and enjoy a beer with you, or a movie, or whatever. They love God in their own way.

I would like to see the wahhibists hunted down like dogs however and they are running both mecca and medina via saudi family.

AT this point I think we need to focus on the people that are doing the killing, not the inanimate objects they purport to be religious symbols... as in, Guns don't kill people... people do...

JUST my opinion though... and at times I want to nuke all of em... So, I understand where you are coming from.
