No, it wasn't my theory about moslems not being able to touch them. RedsHunter posted that on a thread....and I thought, without knowing what their beliefs prescribe, that it was a valid point. I was informed by another, however, that many moslems actually use tarot cards, so this would not be "forbidden."

My wife comes from a moslem family in the Turkish part of Cyprus.
She tells me that Tarot cards are very popular amongst the Turks of Cyprus.

By the way, apparently some of you missed the big thread yesterday,
where there was much discussion of Tarot cards
including a cartoon in a Palestinian newspaper
that featured a Tarot card.

So it's clear Arabs, as well, are very familiar with Tarot cards.
