Including that he and his cronies have body guards comprised of gangs of savage foreign mercenaries -- Ghurkas Come, come... What's wrong with the Ghurkas? They are some of the most admirable soldiers on Earth. They love to wet their kukris with the blood of Muslims, which is fine by me.

Ghurkas are Nepalese -- not Singaporeans -- and are necessary to the protection of Singapore's Harry Lee Gang only because that gang is essentially a self-appointed dictatorship that, in Singapore, needs protection only from its involuntary subjects.
Which would otherwise eject it.
And the horses it rode in on.
My point is that the impression that Singapore is "an island of sanity in the sea of radicals" that comprises Asia's squalid swamp is delusional and/or is the product of thirty years of the output of the perfected Goebellian propaganda machine owned operated and controlled by Singapore's burden: the insanely egomaniacal and Machiavellian, Lee -- and by his Peter Principled offspring, lackies and lickspittles.
A popularly elected gummint does not require the assistance of foreign mercenaries -- and/or murderers for hire -- to protect it from its electorate.
