What this tells me is that the mullahs haven't done a very good job. I also wonder about what role the Carter administration actually had in that drama. Did they make the situation worse? Did they cause it by their ham-handed activities?

And, is this guy one of the political reformers within the government or one of the ones now aligned separately? Very mysterious.

But I am happy to read yet another embarassing comment about Carter, from whatever source. HA!
