I don't understand how anyone from Portland picked up Ebonics. People of all colors pronounce English correctly there. THis and THat and THose are Never pronounced as Diss and Dat and Doze by educated men and women in the Pacific Northwest. A doctorate in urban studies from Portland U.... sheeeeesh!

It is as obvious that the man has a speech impediment as it is that he is a very focused and bright individual. He has succeeded because he has overcome his deficiencies.
